SECU Family House offers a caring solution to a critical need. We support the caregivers
and family members of adult patients undergoing extended-stay medical treatment at UNC Hospitals, sharing hope and comfort where we can. Located less than a mile from the hospital, we provide a convenient, safe, and affordable haven for those far from home and needing a place to rest and rejuvenate. Because the financial demands of hospitalization are great, we welcome all, regardless of ability to pay.
Minutes away from local pharmacies, restaurants, grocery stores, and the post office, our brand new facility is peaceful and quiet, situated in an open meadow across the street from the NC Botanical Gardens. Our house has everything yours does: a laundry room, kitchen, living room, den, and bedrooms. We even have a meditation room and a garden path with a fountain out back.
